In order for us to serve you as efficiently as possible, we ask that you follow the guidelines listed below.
Please:
• Leave all pets at home.
• Stay in your car.
• No Smoking or Vaping on church property.
• Follow traffic directions to keep everyone safe.
If Northwest ISD is closed for inclement weather the pantry will be closed.

Question:
What are the qualifications for receiving food?
Answer:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)/Programa de ayuda suplemental de la nutrición
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)/Asistencia temporal para familias necesitadas
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)(disability)/Seguridad de ingreso suplementario(discapacidad)
- National School Lunch Program (NSLP) (free or reduced-price meals)/Programa nacional de almuerzos escolares (comidas gratis o a precio reducido)
- Medicaid/Medicaid
OR
You are low income
OR
You have an immediate crisis, ie hospital, illness, job loss, etc...

What do I need to bring?
Answer:
No verification is required. We only ask that you honestly fill out the application and intake form.
Question:
When does the Pantry distribute food?
Answer:
Normally we distribute on the 4th Thursday of each month from 6pm-8pm. Holidays may require adjustment to our schedule. Distribution Dates will be posted here on our website, and posted on the church's Facebook, and Instagram pages. Follow us to stay up to date!
Question:
How can I donate?
Answer:
You can bring non-perishable foods to the church during office hours M-T 9am-2pm. Monetary donations can be sent to the church address. 300 Chisholm Creek Pkwy, Rhome, TX 76078 or online at chisholmtrailchurch.org click giving. Please specify food pantry on your donation.
Question:
What if I receive food that I don't like or can't use?
Answer:
You may bring it back to the church and if possible it will be redistributed.
Question:
What if I receive an item that is bad or out of date?
Answer:
If an item is bad please bring it back to the pantry if possible, so we can check for a recall on the product. If it is out of date please refer to the flyer that was given to you regarding dated items. Most products are good long past the Best by date.
